Q: Popup asks me to sign into Icloud w/ wrong account name

I just recently did the update of IOS7 on my iphone 4.  Now my iphone 4 has a continuous, never ending pop saying "Sign in to iCloud", HOWEVER, it keeps asking me for the Apple ID password for the wrong account.  Everytime I put in my password, it doesn't match because I can't change the account to the correct account.

I've googled this and I've tried shutting off Imessage, I've tried shutting off Icloud, I've tried deleting the Icloud account, I've tried going to the App store to make sure there were no downloads pending, I've tried shutting off Face Time, and I've also tried changing the account back to the original/correct account but it won't work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I use this phone for work and I CANNOT make calls, check emails, check messages, etc. w/ this continuous popup.  I need a fix yesterday!!!!!!!!!!

So i had this problem with my brother's phone and I was so frustrated. But I was able to fix the problem. Also I followed the advice here and it did not work.

    This is what I did:

    1. I checked the email and checked if it's been used

    2. I noticed it wasn't so I created an account with the email

    3. I went to iforgot.apple.com and entered the email and reset password

    4. I checked the email and got instructions and reset the password and deleted the iCloud account.

I was able to delete the account the the pop outs went away.

I'm having the same problem, but it's not that I changed my iCloud I.D.; it's that the app store on my MacBook Pro is asking me for the password to my ex's iCloud account, and the email in the email address field is greyed out so I can't change it to my own. This is strange, because I've confirmed through my computer's settings and through iCloud.com that my account is the one associated with these devices, and the app store...

I don't have his password, can't delete his account, and we also don't speak anymore. What do I do?

    Thanks!

The problem is you cannot signout of iCloud unless you are connected to the internet and you cannot connect to regular WiFi Connection because it keeps getting reset by the constant iCloud login prompts.  However connecting via Bluetooth occurs faster than regular WiFI allow you to connect in between iCloud prompts.

I had the same problem with my iPad.  Here is what I had to do.

    1. Turn on Personal HotSpot on my iPhone(Wifi and USB)

    2. Turn on Bluetooth on my iPad between iCloud popups

    3. Connect to the Hotspot on the iPhone from the iPad

    4. Settings -> iCloud -> Signoff

Currently, the activation through the "old", "no-longer-used" e-mail address is necessary when trying to change your Apple ID's e-mail address. Therefore... the fix does not work for me.

Anyone else got a different solution?

    Driving me mad ...
