Can nike fuel band software run on OS 10

Trying to download the Nike+ Connect software for my fuel band but it won't happen. Is the software compatible with my OS?

According to Nike it is:

Nike+ Connect system requirements

To run Nike+ Connect on your computer, your computer must have the following:

  • One of the following two operating systems:
    • Mac (OS v10.5.8+)
    • PC (Windows 7 SP1+, Windows Vista SP2+, or Windows XP SP3+, Windows 8)
  • A USB port (2.0+)
  • Internet access (broadband recommended, fees may apply)
  • Approximately 25 MB free space for Nike+ Connect installation

What it DOESN'T say is if you need an Intel Mac or not. Since 10.5.8 will run on either Intel or PPC, that could be an issue.

It's Intel. I've got it set up with Mac and Windows. I was able to load Nike+ on the Windows side, which is better than nothing. It just messes up my system: web surfing and interfacing on the Mac side and save windows for MS Office projects. I have this notion that web based software is safer and/or more stable on the Mac side. I haven't a shred o' evidence at all to prove that, it's just my prejudice.
