Using my already current modem, what will I need to boost the wifi range to multiple floors?
I'm just looking for the equipment answers. Don't really need to know anything else. Been reading so many posts about the airports and don't quite understand how they work.
The Apple Airport routers will not "boost" or "extend" a wireless network wirelessly unless the network is produced by another Apple AirPort router.
If you don't have an Apple wireless router now, you might want to look at a "universal" repeater that should work with your product.
