I didn't have this song on my phone before I upgraded to ios7. keeps reappearing, icloud based.

I just upgraded to ios7 on my iphone 5. when checking new radio feature and my music I noticed a kids song downloaded via icloud. I never had this song before. I deleted it but it immidiately downloaded again. I have spent too much time trying to delete this song.I only use the cloud for finding my phone. I don't want to subscribe to itunes match (24.99) just to remove one song. What if that dosen't work! When I look for the song in itunes, its not there. HELP!!!

iPhone 5, Windows 7

Ok, for the stubborn songs that you didn't want and can't delete,

Go to : Settings, Music, turn on Show All Music ( this shows all music downloaded or in the cloud),

Open your music player and find the "Unwelcomed" song(s). The cloud symbol will now be visible in top right corner,

tap the cloud to download the song(s) to your phone, when finished swipe left and delete.

Remain calm, The song will still be visible in the cloud until you go back to : Settings, Music, and turn off Show All Music. Your player should now be back to normal.

If you turn on show all music again and redownload from the cloud it should fix that, if not go to google and search for the album you want, click the images tab at the top of the screen and find the album art you're looking for and save to your desktop, open iTunes find the album in need of art, right click, go to "get info", artwork tab, add, locate the image you saved on the desktop click, on it and then ok, if you do not see your image saved , make sure the box next to the file name is selected for all picture files.

your answer on 9/26 fixed my problem. I messaged you but not sure if it got posted because I keep getting emails from

Apple asking if the various replies to my question were helpful.

Again if you didn't get my original reply, THANK YOU SO MUCH. you saved me many more days of trying to get that icloud song off my phone. Your so smart.

Very Grateful,

Mary Jane

This works, but I want to delete the songs altogether. I like the idea of streaming my music from iCloud and not taking up storage space. But I don't want these songs showing up on my phone. I should be able to get rid of them. I already deleted from iTunes on my computer. They don't show up with "show all songs" turned off but neither does the other half of my music not downloaded. And as soon as I turn it back on there they are.

Ok , not 100% on exactly how but I was able to remove old songs from the cloud.

Try this first , it's easier: Settings, Icloud, turn off documents and data and delete the account.

Go back to: Settings, Itunes& App Store, tap the appleId name and sign out. Go back to: Icloud, log back in and deny when asked to merge info with the cloud ,make sure documents and data is turned off.

Go back to: Itunes& App Store, and sign in. See if that worked, if not I'll tell you the "long" version.

Good Luck

Disregard my last post, I guess it was a glitch because they're back and won't go away.

One thing that will work if you have to not be able to see them on your phone at all.

This info is based on purchases made on your appleId account, Settings, ITunes & App Store.

Sign out and create a new account and log in under the new account name. Apple still has all of your old info, but you will not be able to access it from your phone, unless you log out and back in using your old Id. I'm sorry, this is the best I can do.

I didn't have this song on my phone before I upgraded to ios7. keeps reappearing, icloud based.
