how do i stop wobbling icons on ipad?

Press the Home button

Then do a device reset:

*Device reset*

Device Reset (won't affect settings/data/music/apps/etc)

1. Press and hold (& continue to hold) BOTH the Sleep/Wake button & the Home button.

2. Continue to hold BOTH (ignoring any other messages that may show) until you see the Apple logo on the screen.

3. Release BOTH buttons when you see the Apple logo and allow the device to boot normally.

The icons will wiggle if you tap and hold on any of them. Once they start doing this, you can move them from one screen to another or, if they are not preinstalled apps, delete them. All you have to do to make them stop is tap the Home button.

I have the same problem on my mom's. Horrible problem for such a pricey device. Any fix yet? I've even restored and still stuck with wobbling screens. Background shakes opposite way of icons. Can someone say epileptic seizure lawsuit? ha ha

I'm a musician and musicians can't dance (I least I can't). 😝

You may want to restore the iPad if the reset did not work.

Settings>General>Accessibility>Reduce Motion>On/Off

Sorry, I don't understand what could be "dancing" on the home screen other than the icons.

1. Try unlock Side Switch

2. Try reset iPad

3. Try reset all settings

TThat sounds like the parallax effect, turn it off at settings>General>accessibility>Reduce motion Set to green.
