When I try to update an app on the app store on Ipod 5th gen iOS7, it does not update and shows a dark icon. However, I can access the apps via Purchace section on app store. I also cannot install new apps D:

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Go to Settings>iTune and App stores and sign out and sign back in
- Download the app on your computer and sync
- Restore from backup. See:
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.
