Q: osx 10.8.5 not connecting on ios7, wifi and b/tooth

iPhone 5s will not connect to my MacBook Pro. MacBook pro finds the iPhone on bluetooth. iPhone 5s finds the mbp on bluetooth, pairs the states that mbp is not supported on ios7. Cannot transfer with AirDrop. Help!
