Windows 7 PC, iPhone 5C, I've had multiple iPhone replacements where I have restored from a backup, however after the ios 7 update my latest iPhone stopped uploading camera roll images to photostream ON my PC, This has been a big issue for me as my previous iPhone was lost, loosing all my images that were on photostream but not my computer. (The Photostream album in pictures on windows) I uninstalled iCloud control panel on my computer> Went into pictures> and made sure all folders had been deleted, and if not delete them myself **(However!!)*** I SAVED all existing images in a different folder elsewhere for safe keeping, Re-install iCloud control panel, enable photostream and you should see a new folder in pictures (RENAMED) as iCloud Photos, and then all your photostream images will appear here, And then add the backed up images from the previous Photostream. This was my quick solution!

I can echo what lewisbiggins has said as I did the same although all I did was delete all my pics off my i phone 5s. (I had sent them to the PC first via the old method of plugging in a cable )  I then logged out the control panel on the PC and logged back in and it has all started working again fine.   I think it's a simple case of getting rid of the old and starting new.

I have tried all of the above, and whilst the photostream upload works for a bit, and installs some of the photos:

example - 4365 is on my photostream, 4357 is on there, 4352 etc, but none of the photos in between are showing, and at the time I took 4365, I took about 10 photos all within 5 minutes, so something is amis.

I have gone back to an earlier version of Photostream as suggested on these pages, and have tried deleting folders, icloud, streams etc... all without any long term success.

Basically, unless I revert to IOS6 (impossible - I know) I will have to stick with the old method of plugging in my phone.

This is a shame, as one of the benefits of the iphone, is this facility - shame apple don't seem to be inclined to offer a fix, or even acknowledge that they have a problem.

    Same here dave1510!

It was comforting knowing that my images were being automatically sent to my PC whenever I was at home, but now I have to plug-in to manually move them. In fact, I didn't notice this bug until I checked my folder one day for an image and everything since the update was not there!

I only have about 500 photos, tried the steps mentioned above and it "kind of" worked. iCloud added a new folder, but only moved 95 of the most recent images into my photo stream album.

Here's the steps I took: backed up my old images in my photo stream folder in my PC, deleted the old photo stream folder, uninstalled iCloud, then reinstalled it, after the install (and restart of the PC) there was a different folder named "iCloud Photos." I opened iCloud control panel and checked the "photos" box and it did start transferring SOME images, but not all. The photo stream album in my phone had all 500 images, but only about 50 got transferred, so I shut it off in my settings, which erased all the photo stream images. I then turned it back on and from that point it only loaded 95 images into the refreshed album and nothing changed on the PC.

I understand this might be a small annoyance rather than a huge issue...at least we can still manually transfer the photos into the PC, but I usually end up forgetting to do this and with my old Droid phone ended up being a catastrophic mistake when the phone crashed and deleted all my images! I know iPhones are much more stable than that, but anything could happen!

    Please fix this issue Apple!

I have a very similar problem. Photo stream works on my phone and for my Macbook Air, but when I try to view my photo stream on my PC (running Windows 8), it no longer syncs and shows my latest photos. Infact, my 'latest photo' according to my PC photostream was back in October 2013! There are other ways of getting photos onto my PC, but I have to say photostream WAS the most convenient.

    PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE APPLE!

    Hi Guys,

I think i have sussed out the problem        I have I phone 5s and transfering pics to windows 7 via photo stream seams to be an on going issue - What i have noticed is if i log out my I cloud control panel on windows 7 and log back in - your right some of you..not much happends....BUT.....if i delete the videos in my photo stream on my own phone the pics come flodding through via the cloud to my PC.  Maybe this is an issue with video size data and not pictures....Id like to hear if this solves any of your problems....delete the videos in you stream folder on your I phone - then log out on the i cloud control panel - log back in and it should work.......back to you :-)

    Hi,

I have just deleted all videos of my iphone 4, and then logged out of the icloud control panel, and waited a few minutes, then looged back in.... Photots are repopulating , but at the moment not all. 84/338.

Will give it until this evening, and then post back after having another look.

I will also try and take a few photos in case it's only doing new stuff.

This is excellent news - I think i am correct - the issue is with with large data video transfer and not pictures  - i have had to think out side the box and look at this problem at a different angel to everyone else on here including the tech guys.   This is down to very slow transfer of video data that is blocking the restriction to picture flow.  :-)

    After 35 minutes - 229/338

Djrockerbones - No more than the 229 have been uploaded, but I am not unduly worried as there may only have been 229 available in the first place.

The good news is that the photo I took on my phone at 18:20 was on my computer within 5 minutes via photostream.

I will monitor this over the next few days.

I hate to poke holes in your theory Djrockernones, but at the time I didn't have any videos in my photo stream album, so they were never a factor in my situation. I did however, delete all the videos from my phone (after manually backing them up) just to see if that would make a difference and it didn't. I uninstalled iCloud from my PC, deleted the folder, I shut photo streaming off in my iPhone, started it back up and it only repopulated 88/532 images (no videos). Afterwards, I reinstalled iCloud in my PC and as of now it has only transfered 36 random images to my PC...I sure hope at some point Apple fixes this annoying bug!

I've had this problem over and over again with my iPhone 4S. Never mind all my Macs and other iOS devices...photos taken with my iPhone camera would not show up on my iPhone "My Photo Stream" album. I am on iOS 7.

This is what fixed the problem for me:

Ensure your iOS device has not fallen below 20% battery power. To preserve battery life, Photo Stream downloading and uploading are disabled when the battery reaches this threshold. Downloading and uploading will resume once you charge your device, and the battery charge is greater than 20%.

Moreover, it works retroactively. A photo I took this morning when my iPhone was below 20% battery power that didn't show up on any Apple device with Photo Stream immediately appeared (after uploading to the cloud automatically by my iPhone) on all my Apple gear photo streams within 15 seconds after turning my Mophie battery back to Charge (which made the iPhone think it was now plugged into the wall).

    Hi,

My Photostream is still working properly.

Today, I took 5 photos out of my immediate home area, and now home, all are on my PC.

Before this fix, I set up my iphone to automatically upload photos to my Dropbox folder, and this is a good alternative, as it also uploads photos when they are taken, and downloads them to the PC as soon as it is swiched on.

Sorry but I don't have any videos on my iphone (5c).  But I did the logout/log in thing and then on the iPhone I just clicked the 'Shared' button at the bottom and they suddenly all stated appearing in my pc (Windows8). They seem to be sent to a different place on the pc to where they usually were (this pc/pictures/icloud photos/my photo stream; where as before they went to this pc/photo stream/ my photo stream.  So I'm not sure what has happened but it is working again!  Cheers.
