Connecting an iPad to a projector with a wireless adapter

A business where I am going to conduct training has a ceiling mounted projector. The projector has an Imation wireless adapter installed. The product has been discontinued by Imation so they are not developing any drivers to work with iPads. Does anyone have any suggestions? Are there wireless adapters that will work with iPads that I could suggest to the company? They are in the process of distributing iPads to selected users in the business so this issue has not come up for them yet.

Thanks for any suggestions.

An iPhone connected via a Lightning to VGA or HDMI dongle is the best wireless adapter for presenting Keynote slides on an iPad wirelessly to a projector.

Teddy Svoronos has decribed that very well in his blog:

Enjoj!

Apple should market this better as it is a really clever solution as manyiPad owners also own an iPhone.

Hi CraftyLady53,

I use a program called Reflector to wirelessly display my iPad onto my computer. I then connect my computer to a projector so that my iPad screen can be displayed via projector to a screen on the wall.

If you want to cut the computer out of the equation, you'll want to go with an Apple TVwhich you can directly AirPlay your iPad display to the projector.

Hope this answers your question!
