How can I set a particular song order in my library?

Some files of songs get loaded/imported into my library in alphabetical order versus the order of the actual setlist.

How can I determine or create the order of my songs of a particular music file and not have them imported by alphabetical order?

Thanks so much for the response. Most of music does get loaded by track number, but some (even when they have #'s assigned to them) seem to have a mind of their own and pick up the the alpha. order??

If I create a "non-smart" playlist, will I still need to have a seperate "playlist" for that particluar albumn or show?

Yeah, I don't know why some songs get picked up in different orders. Like when I drag an emusic album folder into iTunes, it's all out of order.

If it really bugs me I drag it in reverse track order so "Date Added" will show things in the correct track # sequence.

To listen to a complete album, I just have a regular playlist called "now playing". I drag the album in there and sort by track number.

Then when I want a different album I clear the old one out and drag the new one in.

SOmebody else probably has a better idea but that's what I do.
