Mac OS X Snow Leopard (Bit Version)

Mac OS X Snow Leopard support 64-Bit and 32-Bit CPU(s). But when I unbox the Snow Leopard Install DVD, there was only one disc provided.

Is both 64-Bit and 32-Bit versions included in one DVD ?

Explain it please, thank you.

Snow Leopard is a hybrid OS. It supports both a 32 bit and 64 bit kernel. By default, it will boot to the 32 bit kernel. This may be the only option, depending on what model Mac you have. If your Mac can support a 64 bit kernel startup, you can change it.

No matter which way it starts up, Snow Leopard will run both 32 bit and 64 bit apps. If you check the Activity Monitor, all components of Snow Leopard will show as running in 64 bit mode, no matter which kernel loads.
