11.1 spawns Permissions Repairs

Just noticed that updated iTunes 11.1 has caused my iMac to deliver hundreds and hundreds of permissions repairs all related to iTunes and nothing else. Is this normal or expected behaviour with this update or should I just ignore all of these?
