transfer my purchases into my ipod
I made purchases for my old iPod gen 3, ver 4.2.1, but somehow my brother erased them from the ipod, how can I put them back on the device?

If the songs are in your iTunes library that you use with the iPod, just re-sync it.
If the songs are no longer in your iTunes library, you can re-download previous song purchases from the iTunes Store at no cost. In iTunes, go to the iTunes Store Home screen. Click on Purchased under QUICK LINKS. On the Purchases screen, you can find and download (most) previous purchases. NOTE: You must sign in to the iTunes Store using the same Apple ID used to make those purchases.
