Can't restore Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English -5(LDOCE 5)!!!

I bought the Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English -5th (LDOCE 5) ($29.99) in 2011. I recently updated to iPhone 5s. But I can’t restore this app on my new phone. All my other apps were restored through iCloud or iTunes. But this one was said “not currently available in the U.S. store”. I searched in app store and found one called LDOCE (InApp) , which is the same app that I’ve purchased. I downloaded it, but every time I open the app, it asks me to buy it, restore or choose “not yet”. I chose “InApp Restore”, and typed my apple id password as requested, but nothing happened. It stayed on the same page. Then next time when I open the app again, it still asks me to do the same thing! This is very frustrating! So I have the following questions:

Since I already purchased the app, why I can’t restore it? (It’s a pretty expensive app!) What should I do to have it restore on my new phone?

2. I do have the app on my old phone, and it still works. Can this be a backup or something that can help me transfer this app to my new phone?

3. If none of the above work, can I ask for a refund? And how to do that?

Thank you!

Thank you for your reply! I acturally sent an email to the developper and they got back to me. They asked me to prove the order, mac address and other information. Eventually they are able to solve the problem. I think they manually added my device to their enable list so now I finally restored this app. For those of you who has the same problem, go to the app and in About tab, you can find the developper contact information. I am happy that they sovled this problem in two days after I sent them an email.

Hello choutiss

Try to transfer the purchase to your computer with iTunes and then sync that to your new iPhone. If that does not work, report the issue to the iTunes Store.
