problem after downloading itunes

i've recently deleted and re-downloaded (thinking that might fix the issue) itunes 11.1 to my pc and i can get it to work on one user acct but when i go to open itunes on one of the other user accts on my pc itunes just opens but isn't responding after it opens. any ideas on what the problem may be?
