Reminders not working at all in ios 7.

Every time i open the reminders app since i updated to ios 7,nothing responds. It shows new list and a + next to it in the middle of the screen. It isnt responsive at all.The search works but there is nothing to search for because its not letting me create any reminders. The alarm part shows what i have scheduled, which is nothing, because im not able to schedule anything. I tried using siri but it just says "Sorry i wasnt able to create that reminder."Does anyone know how i can fix this?

Try:

- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

- Reset all settings

Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.

All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

- Restore from backup. See:

iOS: How to back up

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

Any idea how to go to the bottom of a list? I have built up a few hundred reminders in a list. It used to work fine in ios6 hitting the plus sign which put me with a new reminder at the end. You said to tap anywhere in the body of my current reminders list to add a new one. Works wonderful if you have less than 13 reminders. Otherwise it is rather irritating going manually through the entire list to get to the bottom each time I want to add something. Please tell me that there is a solution. They couldn't really have assumed that there would be fewer than 13 reminders in each of our lists, could they? Thank you

I have also to submit my unease about the changes in the Reminders App. I use Reminders every single day, I would forget to do my laundry and buy groceries without this app, it changed the my whole daily routine and improved my life a lot!

My Problems:

- App sometimes won't start.

- Today view is missing! This stupid alarm clock is not an improvement but a step back!

- Creating Reninders causes Problems! I create a reminder, put in date and time but suddenly it's there twice, once on the date I selected and once on the current day and time! if I delete the one on the current date (because i never wanted to create it) it eventually sometimes deletes the one on the correct date as well. Through this, I have to double and triple check every stupid reminder if it is correctly created. In fact, my iPhone sometimes forgets reminders!!!

- The old view was much better and more functional. It now looks as unorganized as the new calendar which i stopped to use because it makes me feel unorganized as well.

The single only improvement, and this is i think just a feeling, is that the iCloud sync between devices is a bit faster and better since iOS 7.0.3

APPLE PLEASE FIX THE REMINDERS APP!!! There are people here who REALLY NEED them!

I was having the same problem, but how I fixed it was to go to Settings -> Reminders -> sync and then changed the setting to an option other than what I had and back and everything returned to normal in reminders.

I guess I'd go that route before resetting everything and save the reset everything in case the technique I describe doesn't work for you.

I had a similar problem with my new 5s. It didn't matter if Siri made the reminder or if I did it manually. I tried time based and location based reminders. No reminders were triggered. I just got back from the Genius Bar. I had several email accounts. We went into settings and turned off reminders for all of the accounts except iCloud. Now reminders works just fine!
