I use Itunes 11 almost every day. Today, I am unable to delete any old podcasts. Delete is grayed out and my keyboard delete doesn't work. What happened ?

I just recently installed itunes version 11.1 and now I am unable to delete any ald podcasts. Delete is grayed out and keyboard " delete" doesn't work. What has happened?
