Upgrade iPhone - SIM QuestionI am upgrading from iphone 5 to iphone 5S (purchased from apple.com). Do I have to swap out my SIM card when I get it in the mail?

I ordered the iPhone 5S from apple.com, and currently use an iPhone 5. I understand how to back up my iphone 5 and restore on the 5S to copy all of my data. But my confusion is with the SIM card in my existing phone...

When it arrives in the mail, do I have to put my existing SIM card into the 5S? My carrier is AT&T. If anyone could help I would appreciate it! Thank you 🙂

After you get your iPhone 5S and have Restored it from Back Up via iCloud or iTunes and ready to be your working iPhone. If your iPhone 5 is still getting ATT reception, then you can just place the SIM card from the iPhone 5 into the 5S. If the Restore from Back Up process activates the SIM in the iPhone 5S then no SIM swap will be necessary.
