With the formes iOS you could close apps by pressing the home button 2 times and then holding the app a few seconds until he starts
to shake and than close it by pressing (x)
This doesn't work in iOS7... How can I close apps in iOS7?

Still double click the home button, but then swipe the page (not the icon) of the app you wish to close to the top as if you were flinging it off the top of the display.

Double Tap the Home Button... Then swipe the App Upwards... Tap the Home Button when finished.

I just wanted to say thank you for your answer to closing the apps on my ipad. I just updated to IOS 7 today, that was a great description I giggled flinging them off the page... Have a great day
Just simply "pinch-in" with all 5 fingers.
