Q: Fingerprint authentication for iTunes/Appstore purchasing does not work

I have a new iPhone 5S with iOS 7.0.1 installed. I activated the fingerprint authentication to unlock the iPhone and to use it with iTunes/Appstore purchasing. The unlock procedure works excellent. BUT I only get the Apple-ID/password windows if I try to download or to by an App in Appstore! Nothing happens If I try to use the fingerprint after appearing this authentication window. Is this also a iOS software bug?

For videos use the Videos app not Music app.

Ok but I hope Apple will provide a solution in the future to use touch ID with restrictions On and "immediate" authentication.

That's the second point for me that Apple "didn't say why". The other problem in iOS 7 is, that playlists with videos doesn't play in landscape fullscreen with iOS 7. Now the cover flow screen appear if I try this. And Apple also "didn't say why"! But that is posted in some other treads.

Very strange that "Apple didn't say why"!

The user manual explained how to use a function not the philosophy/thoughts behind the implementation.

No user manual do that. You can sign up as a developer and ask the engineer if you like.

You can also send feedback here

The video app can't play video playlists! But the music app is also playing playlists videos since iOS 6. But in iOS 7 the full screen landscape mode isn't available to play playlists with videos. Bus as I wrote that's another tread discussion.

Sure Apple can make what Apple want without any explaination. But Apple should also act on such user hints otherwise the users will say "Goodby Apple" and buy other devices.

Apple is not here. This is a user to user technical forum.

Send your feedback, I am not interested what you buy or not buy.

FYI, my video playlist works using Videos app.

Yes you are right Apple is not here but I hope that Apple is reading this thread. I also sent a request to Apple but got no answer until now.

One question regarding playing vido playlists. How do you select a "playlist" that contains videos in Videos app??? I'm only able to use only single movies or single videos but NOT playlists using the Apple Videos app.

I have created some video playlists in iTunes and synchronized the list to my iPhone. But can see or select this playlists only in Music App. Again, how do you select any playlist in Videos App? There are only two buttons for Movies and for Musicvideos. And here I can only choose single movies or single musicvideos but no playlists. The playlists are only chooseable in Music App. But here the fullscreen landscape playing is not working!

Did your videos (.mp4, .m4v) playlist actually sync?

In Videos app at the bottom, you have Movies, MusicVideos and Shared.

Tap the MusicVideos, I have my playlist and also music for the cloud and I can play.

Crazy! As I wrote I can only see and select single music videos if I tap on MusicVideos in Videos App. And yes the videos are .mp4 files. The iOS is on version 7.0.2.

If you have more videos in playlist, it will play one after the other.

Yeh that's the goal that videos are playing one after the other. I just created a new playlist in iTunes. Then I moved two music videos to that new playlist. Then I connected my iPhone 5S to the PC and synchronized the new selected playlist. I selected that new playlist in Music tab under devices My iPhone. But I cant't find select this new playlist in Videos App on my iPhone.

Another point is that I can create new playlists in Music App. But in can't find this "create new playlist" function in Video App.

Sorry but I can't believe that it's possible to play playlists with music videos using the Videos App. You guide link says nothing about video playlists. A lot of other users here have the same problem. Nobody is able to play playlists with music videos in landscape fullscreen mode using the Apple Music App or the Videos App.

I am the proof, I only sync playlists, no individual song/video from my computer ever since iPhone 3G. My habits have not changed and I can play the playlist on my 5S. I did notice when I play them using the Music app that it will not play in Landscape mode. The screenshot I posted was the 3rd in my playlist and I let it run in the background while posting here.

Can you post some screenshots of the Videos App playlist selection screens on your 5S device in one of the treads above please? I also sycronize my playlists in iTunes manually to my 5S. But as I wrote this playlists doesn't appers as selections in Videos App on my 5S. The playlists are only available in Music App on my 5S but without the possibility to play them in landscape fullscreen mode.
