Text Message Search after IOS 7 update

I have iphone 5. after updating to IOS 7, i am unable to search my sms messages that were received before the update? i checked with other iphone 5 users and they are facing the same issue. However, users of iphone 4 is not facing this issue!! I tried to contact apple support through the online chat and I did not got assisatnce.

Any suggestions?
