Hi. We updated to iOS 7 few days ago, and now my partners iphone in the email messages, shows all the folders (sent, drafts, trash etc) but the 'inbox' has vanished. If I send her an email? She gets this pop up box that asks if she wants to read it, she clicks yes, reads the email, but once it's read, we can't see any inbox as to where it's being stored? Bizarre, any thoughts? thanks so much. M

While in the Mail app, click on the "Edit" button in the upper-right corner. This allows you to re-add the Inbox folder to your folder list.

4 years later and this advice still works. I deleted my e mail and added it again and my inbox reappeared. Thanks
My husbands iPhone 5s OS has not been up updated to 11.0.1.
He woke this morning to no mail icon on his home screen. The “mail” is also not in his Setttings Menu.

Hi , thanks for that. Unfortunately when we click on edit to see which other mailboxes we can add, it still only shows drafts, sent and trash but no INbox?
I was having same trouble (suddenly - one day = FINE next day RUBBISH!!)
Thanks to this (VERY HELPFUL) site I found the answer (Adam KB) - the ONLY way I could solve the 'missing/invisible' emails was to DELETE mail account from my ipad & ADD again!! = ONE VERY HAPPY LADY............... THANKS!! :-)
That's odd. Try deleting and re-adding the email account.
