Oct 18, 2013 8:22 PM in response to Robertopv16by Epicjeff,You can get around it by unplugging the TV AND the Apple TV (I recommend leaving them both unplugged for 30 seconds). You do have to unplug both...not just one or the other. After that, it should work. The problem I have though is it only works until the Apple TV shuts off again. The next time I cut it on, the problem is back and I have to go through the unplugging process again. I have to do it almost every night. Very annoying. Not satisfied with this device.

Oct 19, 2013 5:44 AM in response to Robertopv16by diesel vdub,Has this worked previously on this tv? Not all TVs support HDCP.
Also, check with the tv manufacturer, they may have a firmware update for the tv to resolve the issue.

Nov 2, 2013 1:46 PM in response to Klankkastby Epicjeff,Unpluggin both the TV and Apple TV for 30 seconds worked for me, but I've also noticed that if I turn on the TV first and then the Apple TV, and then when I'm done turn the Apple TV off before I turn off the TV, the problem doesn't continuously reoccur.
