iOS 7 notification center will not sort by time

I have the exact same problem, it's driving me nuts. Yours is the only thing I can find about this.

I am having this issue as well. I first noticed it on one of the dev betas on my 4S which I thought was just a bug or something and at first my 5S sorted everything by time but now it's back to being a random annoying mess like the beta. I can also temporarily fix this issue by switching to manual then back to time but it doesn't stick for me either.

I have the opposite issue. In particular, I manually sort for Passbook to be near the top but it perpetually appears at the very bottom.

It could be strange, but you should check Notifications on you Macbook, and try to switch it to "By Time". It seems to me Apple synchronizesNotifications Settings via iCloud, but not correctly. I noticed that I had the same problem on my work Macbook Pro.

Is no one else having this problem? Or does no one use notification center?

I sorted Notifications on my computer by time as noted by 42point. This did not change the faulty behavior of my iPhone's Notification Center.

This is extremely frustrating to me.

Just try change settings on iOS also. Hope it'll help.

I have the exact same problem under iOS 7, it get fixed when I switch from "By time" to "Manual", then switch back to "By time" in Settings. Few hours/days later, notifcations are unordered again...

So I take it that most people do not have this problem. How do I become one of those people? I’m tired of periodically toggling the setting to make it behave again until it doesn’t. Has anyone figured out why this happens or how to get it to stop? Anyone tried a full device reset?

I'm still having this issue, after the 7.1 release as well. Has anyone, found a fix...as of yet?!?

it's getting pretty annoying!!! Have you tried, wiping the iOS device clean and restarting as a new device? I wonder, would that work?

Seems pretty drastic - I'm on my third iPhone 5 as had 2 replaced by Apple although they have been set up from a backup. So not strictly new device.

Don't really want to start fresh but seems to be little info about this problem on the web.

I'm still dealing with this as well. Was happening on my iPad Retina which I sold when I bought a Mini w/ Retina and its happening on this device too.

Changing the sort setting resolves the issue for a short period of time but it will bug again within a few hours to a day or two.
