I'm getting emails about my complimentary icloud upgrade expiring and that I'm using too much storage on iCloud. However when I check on iCloud, I have lots of storage space left. Why am I getting the emails?

I'm getting emails about my complimentary icloud upgrade expiring and that I'm using too much storage on iCloud. However when I check on iCloud, I have lots of storage space left. Why am I getting the emails?

I'm getting emails saying "When your complimentary iCloud storage upgrade expires in 6 days, your iCloud storage will be automatically adjusted to the free 5 GB plan.". However when I check on iCloud, I have a 25G storage plan with plenty of space. Why am I getting the messages, please?

Mac Book Pro, Mac OS X (10.5.6), Also Windows PC on wireless

Read > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5527 Apple gave 25 GB of free storage for MobileMe users that upgraded to iCloud, and the storage will expire in 6 days, so you will get 5 GB. If you want 25 GB of storage, you will have to pay

Thanks, mende1, that is helpful. When I looked at my iCloud account, however, it says it will automatically take payment on 30/9/13 for 25Gb, I guess to renew the storage. But I still got the emails. Will see if they continue.

If you don't want to pay, you can choose 5 GB > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4874
