iOS 7 and Bluetooth keyboard issues

After upgrading to iOS 7 on an iPad 2, my Logitech ultrathin keyboard will no longer type alphanumerics into my school's secure WiFi login/password network page (but does function properly in other applications/pages). Every single key seems not to function on the WiFi login page (only) except for the upper left hand "home" button, which allows you to toggle away from the login page. In order to login to secure WiFi, I must turn off Bluetooth to disable the Logitech keyboard and bring up the iPad on-screen keyboard, login to the secure WiFi, then turn on the Bluetooth again in order to gain use of the Logitech keyboard. And I must repeat this process regularly because the secure WiFi times out after several minutes of inactivity. This problem did not exist with iOS 6. Very inconvenient. Please help.

Many of the students in my school complain of the same problem with various brands of Bluetooth keyboards, including Apple, Logitech, Zagg, etc. This points toward an iOS 7 problem since this problem did not exist with iOS 6. I just updated to iOS 7.02 and that did not fix the problem either. Strange that the keyboard works for all applications, except for logging into the secure WiFi page.

The same thing happens to me when I try to access the " My Account" link to see how much data I have left on my verizon 4g package. Again, it's a sign in form, just like the wifi one & the exact same issue shows up. I can't type anything with the external keyboard & I can't get the on screen keyboard to work since the external one is hooked up.

Hi,

Same here!

If I connect a external keyboard via Bluetooth I will get:

1) multiple key entries

2) jumping cursor

3) permanent cursor scrolling to the bottom

To solve this I must disconnect my keyboard.

Reproduced with a Logitech K760 and ZaggKeys Cover for iPad Mini.

I have also called in at the Apple Support line.

Tested a Settings Reset and Repair of the keyboards but nothing helps.

Any ideas?

Thanks, Jo!

I've commented in another thread to say that this is across the board in third party keyboards, it's a variety of weird glitches, some of them are program specific (I can't get my up and down arrows to work in a paragraph of text in iMessages, but I'm fine in Pages), and forgetting the bluetooth device and repairing does not resolve any of the issues I've experienced.
