Sep 25, 2013 10:50 AM in response to alienlovesongby randers4,What is your current plan and what plan are you trying to choose? Also, are you a former MobileMe user who's free upgrade is about to expire?

Sep 25, 2013 11:03 AM in response to randers4by alienlovesong,★HelpfulMobileMe user -- I figured it out. Duh. I already had the 20G plan and just needed to renew it. Thanks for the prompt reply!

Jul 21, 2015 4:31 AM in response to alienlovesongby AnthonyNC,I just received this email too and its July 2015, yet the subject line states:
Reduce the amount of iCloud storage you are using by September 30, 2013.
First, its not 2013 anymore. I cant believe Apple would send out emails and not check their subject lines OR their dates.
Second, I have used 0.2 GB of 5 GB free plan and I do not send photos (or anything for that matter) to the "cloud".
So I dont believe this email is authentic at all. I am not clicking on anything..

Jul 21, 2015 7:27 AM in response to MelanieMiller01by Csound1,All I have done is ask a question, to which there has not been an answer.

Jul 21, 2015 7:29 AM in response to Csound1by MelanieMiller01,My apologies. I see now that AnthonyNC made the statement for which I agree. The sender's email is noreply@insideicloud.icloud.com.

Jul 21, 2015 7:31 AM in response to MelanieMiller01by Csound1,Well now, that is not an Apple email (they come from someone@Apple.com) so this clearly is a scam.

Jul 21, 2015 7:39 AM in response to Csound1by MelanieMiller01,I plan to ignore it.
In case someone from Apple sees this, please know the only URL within the email body appears to be a valid Apple site. (https://support.apple.com/kb/HT5527) The grammar and spelling look good which is not always the case with scams. The email layout and appearance looks like other Apple emails, and the help links along the bottom are all valid Apple links. I hovered over each and compared them to the Apple site links.

Jul 21, 2015 12:40 PM in response to MelanieMiller01by AnthonyNC,I have forward my email to abuse@apple.com. Let them tell me I am wrong. I also hit spam on my email client.

Jul 23, 2015 6:27 AM in response to AnthonyNCby MelanieMiller01,You were not wrong. Apple has sent an email to me to let me know the previous email was erroneous. I am guessing you received one too. We were correct that it was an error by Apple.
