I have downloaded an app to my ipad but the icon has disappeared. When I go to the App Store it shows as "open" and I can open and use but I cannot get it to show on the normal pages. Help please.....
try swiping down in the middle of the home screen to show the spotlight search bar
then type the name of the app to search for it

... and the result should show the folder it's in. Swipe your home screen to see other screens.
this will help give you a visual on how to "spotlight search" your device.

The reason for doing this is if the application is on your device it will show in the search results
