I'm editing a file in garage band.

I hit something, I don't know what, and now, instead of the file flowing along so I can remove umm's, etc, it is very jumpy and the track editor looks different then normal. The track editor section IS there. I am not seeing the highs and lows on the track editor that I normally see, it is jumping around and in such a way that I couldn't really edit it like this. Help!
