Copying files from windows to XSan

I am running a Xsan 3 storage on a 10.8 Mountain Lion System.

The access via Mac clients works perfect - all file transfers work well.

As soon as I try to copy a file from a Windows 7 system to the Xsan share the file transfer stops. Windows is showing an error message which says the Network connection has failed and Windows cannot transfer the file. It happens mostly for larger files or large groups of files.

Is anyone able to send me a solution.

is the windows machine indexing the SAN. I would take a look at that first and make sure that the machine isn't indexing,

Thanks for your reply. I took a look at the windows machine and turned of all indexing for the SAN. Unfortunatelly it is still the case that the file transfer fails.

Any other ideas?

I got a ton of different idea's. Next step would be to check your fibre switch. I would be looking for massive errors, correct zoning, device scan settings, I/O stream gaurd settings, time, domain locking, ect.
