I have the same problem, even the old videos that I have moved to my iPad (last generation, 128 GB, WiFi+LTE) one month ago are not playing today after upgrade to iOS 7.

Sorry, no solution. Only the same problem. My Go pro videos used to play but now won't.

The problem is only with videos in resolution greater than 1080p, and frame rate greater than 30 fps; in iPad specification it is written that those videos are not supported, although they were playing well in iOS 6 :(

Although it was never officially announced, the feature to play 1440p/48fps on iPad in iOS 6 was one of the crucial for all users of GoPro Hero 3 Black Edition. This was the useful way to preview our videos on the "large" screen when we were still on move. Even at home this was useful for the first, quick preview, iPad was playing those videos so fine and smoothly (grace its embedded H.264 codec), comparing to any MacBook (Air or Pro) that is not able to play them without pre-processing. Apple, please, we want this feature back !!!

I also now have this problem, without knowing that apple had withdrawn support for 1440p
I had used 1080p and 1440p in the past with no issues, but normally shoot at 1080p, but I upped the res to film on myGoPro this weekend as I wanted the best res and now can't preview it.
There was nothing in the IOS 7 release notes that warned of this, I would have stayed on 6 if it had.
Please Apple restore this previously well used and enjoyed feature.

Same problem here untill yesterday...
Yesterday I received my new iPad Mini Retina and now I'm able to sync and play all my videos made with a GoPro at different resolutions and frame rate.
Since yesterday I was able to see my videos only on my iPhone 5s but no more on my iPad3 retina...
I think is an hardware decision made by apple with the introducton of ios7.
