Why Is FaceTime quality so bad. I have replaced modem AirPort Extreme as well as new provider iOS 7 and 30 mbs.

It is bad on iPhone iMac and MacBook as well

iPad (4th gen) Wi-Fi + Cellular, iOS 7

How is the connection on the people you are FaceTiming with? You can have the fastest connection on earth but still be bottlenecked by a slow connection on the other end.

Have you noticed how Facetime got much poorer from around April 2013?

Yes? Well it is not your systems. It is Apple. They route FT calls through relay servers now. Routinely the wuality is appreciably worse rhan Skype now. I have given up on Facetime.
