Sep 27, 2013 3:29 AM in response to SC56by SC56,I connected my ATV to my laptop and reactivated 6.0 just like the other posts suggested. ATV will mirror laptop. iPad still will not mirror. When I attempt, screen goes black as if it is trying but nothing. Shifting airplay back to iPad brings apple apps back up. Again, try to mirror and black screen. Un-mirror and I see apps.
Help please?

Sep 27, 2013 3:30 AM in response to SC56by Winston Churchill,Try the following steps, check whether things are working after each step where appropriate, before trying the next.
- Check AirPlay is turned on on the Apple TV (turn it off and on if it already is)
- Check that both devices are on the same network (Settings > Wifi, on the mobile device and Settings > General > Network, on the Apple TV).
- Restart the Apple TV (Settings > General > Restart).
- Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
- Restart your router. (Also try removing it’s power cord for at least 30 seconds)
- Restart your mobile device.

Sep 27, 2013 3:54 PM in response to SC56by SC56,Well, all is well with the world. I followed Mr. Churchill's process and I'm back to getting airplay on the iPad. Thanks Winston. I will reference these few changes changes I made while executing the process:
1) I unplugged the direct connection from ATV to router and connected wirelessly. Should not matter but I did.
2) When restarting my mobile devices, first one started to show up on the screen. Turned it off and then the other phone showed up on the screen. I discovered both were set to mirror. I made sure mirror was turned off both iPhones. Tried my iPad and presto, iPad now shows up on screen.
Could be that following the process above did the trick but check your mobile devices just to make sure.
