Sorry but we cant create a repair while Find my iPhone is active

Yes. The rightful owner of the iPhone needs to turn off Find My iPhone before you can use it or get it serviced. You need to ask some very pointed questions to the people who sold it to you.

There is a way to disable find my iphone but its a huge hassel you basicly have to provide proof of purchase to apple, in your case the whole salers name,address...etc and eventually once its verifyed they unlock it, I had to do this for my gf she bought her phone off this apple reseller place in town and when the power switch went out we couldnt get it serviced untill find my iphone was remove it took days through to remove it and was a huge pain to find all the receipts and info they asked for

Activation lock may lead to many such scams if people insist on buying used from unknown parties. Someone steals someone else's phone, sells it online, and of course, it is blocked from being restored and activated by the original owners perfectly legitimate use of Activation Lock.

that phone was surely stolen. Feel bad for you

it was a reseller store they sell all second hand apple products i had to gather all there info and proof of purchase, and as long as its not in lost mode there shouldnt be an issues
