Have a problem with Home Sharing with Apple TV and iTunes. Have latest iTunes and Apple TV downloads. Have both items set up for home sharing with same address and passwords. AppleTV running fine for everything else. FYI, my library is about 60gigs. AppleTV model is MD199LL/A if that matters. Really want to hear my entire music library and not just Purchased items. Thanks for any help!!!

Home-sharing is accessed via the computers icon. If you use the Music icon it will be accessing iCloud and only purchases will be available (unless subscribed to iTunes Match)

Thanks...I have been going in to Computers and after setting up the password, it simply states you need to having sharing enabled on both iTunes library and Apple TV. I realize the music icon is only for the purchased stuff.

Yes, both on and running. I have shut down both and restarted twice now. Also, reset the passwords twice on each just to be certain everything is good.

I have gone through those as well. I was thinking maybe something in the preferences section is checked or not checked and that could have something to do with it. I looked at everything in there and everything seems to be correct. Thinking it has to be something simple since everything else works fine with iTunes and the ATV??

Same here.

Nothing can connect to my iTunes library on a new iMac: iPhone, iPad and Apple TV can't see it. Everything is set up correctly. The network is sponsored by a Time Capsule.

I have the same problem. It worked fine before, maybe a month or so ago I have tried all the steps in this thread on my Apple TV second generation and my Windows 7 PC. I get the message on my Apple TV that home sharing needs to be enabled on my PC. I have even disabled the firewall on the PC and still does not work. Any help is appreciated.

Same exact problem here. iMac, macbook and iphone 5. Already TS, all up to date, restarted, etc, etc and still no library shows up on apple tv. Seriously Apple I just bought Apple Tv yesterday 'cause all your foruns and TS pages say it was best way for streaming mac content to tv but now I'm fealing like I just been robed out of 110€!! Can somebody please fix this?

I have an older PC with Windows XP Professional on it. I updated to the latest iTunes and I am able to access the photos, etc. on it. However, my Windows 7 PC still does work (since last Apple TV update). Apple TV does not recognize that Home Sharing is turned here. The latter PC has all my current photos on it which I would like share with others on my Apple TV. A fix would be appreciated.
