Why does my iphone w/ ios7 vibrates randomly when unlocked?

Yes, I am using a Mophie and have this random vibrating problem. Do you think they're related?

I had the same. After a while I figured out that location services was always working at that time(the GPS arrow upper right corner).

I have switched of frequent locations Settings - Privacy - location services - system services - frequent locations.

Up to now no ghost vibrations anymore.

Maybe this is the solution.

Nope sorry, I have almost all the location services off (including "frequent locations") and I still have the problem.

Just to add on.... something i've noticed... it always happens sometime after 7pm (i have sadly decided to take a screenshot everytime it happens to try and spot a trend). Mmm, still stumped :/

It still happens with my 4s. At times it just vibrates; other times is flashes the ringer with vibration as I've tried to illustrate here http://d.pr/i/Dj2m

I've tried changing settings, etc. to no avail. Suggestions?

Have found going to Gen. Settings, Accessibility, Assisitive Touch,

Turn "On", Touch White Circle, tap Device, Tap " Unmute".

Been doing this for about 2 Weeks now.

Mine does a bit odd thing. It rumbles when I have a call. Incoming or outgoing dont matter. It does not rumble for a full cycle as would when receiving msg, but for a tenth of a sec.

Annoying. Just wondering anyone has similar problems?

Was factory resetted, restarted, downgraded ect. Nothing helps.

Any idea folks?

Just bumping this, anyone from Apple got anything to say? Ever since the 7 update my iphone has turned from a tool into a puzzle. They release updates constantly yet troublesome issues are not addressed, just colours of icons. Fed up with apple now, this is my last iphone - EVER. Cannot wait to release myself from their buggy customer ignorant clutches. Anyone know a good smart phone that works?

Hello, I'm having the same buzz/page flip sound too (iPhone 4, iOS7) and it's driving me nuts.

For me it seems to happen between 10:10 and 10:20 every single morning. I hope some one at apple addresses this soon. :/ I'm starting to consider trading my phone in for one with iOS6 still installed so I don't have to deal with all these obnoxious "quirks".

yup - I've figured out it was the mail app too - sepcifically my Yahoo account. It vibrates (only vibrates, does not wake the phone/turn on the screen) everytime I receive an email to that account, even though I have all notficiations turned off for that account under System->Notifications.

I've just tried changing it from Push to Manual under Settings->Mail->Fetch New Data; we'll see if that works.

This is fine for me since I don't use this account frequently and don't care to receive push notifications from it...

Is the mail app definitely. I disactivated it and solved my problem.
