Mail on ipad not showing

I just downloaded ios7 onto my ipad4. Now my mail keeps showing 4messages, but there's nothing there. I've tried resetting, to no avail. Please advise!

Try this reset ..

Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings

Then restart the iPad.

I've tried resetting three times, and it still shows 4messages that aren't there :/
