Can I transfer my iTunes library from my PC to my Mac?

Hi, I got my Mac quite a while now, and I used to have a PC, my phone is backed up to there along with my iPad, are there anyway that I can transfer my iTunes account to my Mac? I want to be able to sync my phone into my mac but I don't want to lose all my stuff that I have on my phone and ipad.

I tried Migration Assistant but it doesn't work. Yes it transfered all my music and stuff but my phone is still 'synced' to my PC. I know one apple device can only be registered to one computer, but is there a way that I can swap the computers? I don't know if this makes any sense anymore...Please help.

You can use the Migration Assistant in Mac OSX when you first set up and register your Mac. There are other possible methods also but this is one of the most popular methods.
