Multitasking ios7

I love the new multitasking in ios7 but when i close all my apps by swiping why doesn't open the home screen automatically?
I think this makes the multitasking even better.

I suspect this is currently by design, however it would make sense to bring you back to your home screen rather than having to select it if you've closed all open apps.
Perhaps you should feed this back to Apple directly: http://www.apple.com/feedback/ipad.html
