I use iPhone notes between my laptop, iPad and iPhone but they don't show up on my desktop. I do not see the application on my computer at all, even when I search for it. I've looked for a way to download it but to no avail. Has anyone else had this problem? I don't want to carry my computer all the way to the Mac store just for this but I do use Notes a TON for writing.

Do you know if there is any way to create a shortcut to it so I don't have to have mail up and running? I don't actually like the mail interface as much as just gmail.

Far as I know until/unless you upgrade to Lion or Mt Lion (which have a notes program) you are stuck.
