I *Don't* Want iMovie to Import from iPhoto

Every time I open iMovie it asks me if I want to import my photos from iPhoto. I never want to do this and am wondering if there's a way to stop iMovie (the latest version) from asking me this every time. You can "postpone" the import and do it later but the next time you open the app, it will ask you again.

Hi

Yes and No

No You can not stop it from looking into iPhoto Library.

BUT

You can set iPhoto to create a new and empty Library and direct iPhoto to this. Now iMovie will look here too and find nothing.

IF I REMEMBER IT RIGHT - eventually one must move the First Original iPhoto out onto an eaternal Hard Disk to get this to work. But it is possibly to do.
