Q: Can't send email on outlook

Thanks b_chevy.  This has worked for me!  I am using Outlook 2007 on PC.

That did the trick for me.  Changing my outgoing SMTP server to p06-smtp.mail.me.com works now.  I am using Outlook 2010 Professional on Windows 7.  Incoming server (IMAP): 993; SSL encryption | Outgoing server (SMTP): 587; TLS encryption.

I tried the solution posted by jdbeletran studio which did work, but you have to re do this everytime I open Outlook. Not exactly what I want to be doing evrytime I need to send emails.

The same goes here.....we did a bunch of updates and I asked my husband what he did to our poor Mac.  Can't reply or send e-mails.  Receive fine.  This is a huge issue as I'm working on a big fundraiser and have lots of questions and orders to confirm via e-mail. 

Thanks, vawoods.   Your additions were what helped me.    I set mine to 587 and SSL and it worked.

Thank you.  I have been trying for a week to fix this problem.  Not sure why it happened.  I didn't do any updates lately.

I have spent the last week or so trying to resolve this irritating issue. Did as instructed here and it has worked perfectly. Many thanks
