iOS 7 upgrade won't let me update Facebook app etc.

iOS 7 upgrade on iPad mini won't let me update my Facebook and other apps although it was working perfectly well before the upgrade. It says my account isn't valid in the store where I live and that I should switch to the UK store before 'purchasing'! I do not need an account where I live and am already registered with the UK store! Additionally my iPhone 4S upgrade using the same details is not showing any problems! What should I do please as I would like to be able to update my apps?! Incidentally both devices share the same account details although they use different email accounts.
