My Macbook Pro is making a humming noise.
My Macook Pro is only around a month old and otherwise is properly working. I've looked up similar problems but none of those soutions have been working.

Fan noise, normal
If youre out of country, it could be a cycle hum of the power converter.
lower right is the HD and could be same however that noise is a "wzzzzz" of the platter and spindle spinning up.
Only 3 possible sounds (other than the superdrive on a disk) is the FAN, the HD, and a cycle hum. 😊
Hey Thanks. I think its a fan. Any idea how I could fix it?
Fix it? unless it has a bit of dust bunnies on the fan blades theres nothing to fix.
if ther are no scraping noises or buzzing noises from the fan (indicating the rotor going bad), no worries.
At most it would require a cleaning of the blades.
Fans in laptops act like little vacuum cleaners and suck in dust and pet fuzz and can cake on the blades.
BUT SINCE your Mac is only a month old that just about impossible 😉
Make an appointment at an Apple store genius bar and have the technicians check out your MBP. It still is within the 1 year warranty period.
Ciao.
