iPhone 5S Screen Flickering

Had my iPhone 5S for less than 24 hours and have noticed the screen is flickering whenever brightness is turned up past 50%. Already spoke to apple customer service and did what they suggested by resetting settings and doing a restore but to no avail the screen still flickers. Anyone else having this issue and if so how did you correct it. Trying to avoid getting a replacement device if this is something apple is aware of and working on a fix. Thanks in advance for any help.

iPhone 5s, iOS 7, Actually on iOS 7.0.1

I would suggest its probably a hardware fault, I have seen a flood of people with this issue. A flicreing screen sound smore like hardware than software, Try going into an Apple store and seeing if other handsets do it, if not you have your answer. Personally I would want a replacement since the screen is the same as the iPhone 5.

I have the same issue. can you try this.

1. sign out from icloud.

2. restart your iphone by pressing home button and sleep button together until screen goes black.

3. now restart by pressing sleep button as normal way.

4. turn on automatic brightness and restart. Now again disable and enable automatic brightness 2-3 times.

5. check whether the flickering is still there. If there is no flickering then you may enable or disable automatic display brightness as required.

6. If it don't solve the issue, then repeat step 2,3,4 for 3-4 times.

7. If the problem still exists, then clear safari browser history, set airplane mode, disable icloud reminders, contacts and then restart for 2-3 times. It worked for me.
