AirPlay with AirServer connectivity problem

Updated to IOS 7 and now I am having mirroring issues with AirServer. I have been using AirServer for approximately 6 weeks teaching in a 7th grade Math classroom. I connect and disconnect multiple times per class period and never had a problem until I updated my iPad to IOS 7 last week. Now, after 3 or 4 connect/disconnects, the next time I attempt to connect, it will not mirror the iPad. I have to hard reset the iPad to get it to work again. The iPad appears to be connected but everything on the iPad slows down considerably and AirPlay does not start on the computer. I reproduced the same exact problem on an iPad Mini that also has been updated to IOS 7. Also, I have the latest version of AirServer on the computer. I had absolutely no connectivity problems prior to upgrading to IOS 7. Thanks for any help you can provide.

This is an iOS 7 AirPlay mirroring bug.

Exact same results when using an Apple TV instead of AirServer.

To make matters worse, the iPad automatically drops its mirroring session 45 seconds after it auto-locks.

3-4 mirroring sessions is all it takes for the iPad mirroring to freeze up.

After this happens, mirroring to an Apple TV only projects a blank screen.

Once the mirroring is hung, the only way to fix it is to restart the iPad.

Apple please fix this iOS 7 issue!

I also have this problem, and I'm trying to use it in the classroom, which has been mostly a failure because of the mirroring bug. I use mirroring with my iPad 3 running iOS 7 and my Macbook Pro, which has been successfully projected onto the screen two or three times before nothing began happening at all.

Apple, please fix this. It'll be awesome when you do.

We are having the same problem at our school. This is our first year using iPads with students and it is very important for teachers to be able to display the iPad screen to the whole class on the projector. We have tried Apple TV and AirServer, but this iOS bug is making the display feature totally unrealiable. We are waiting for Apple to develop a fix.

My iPad 4 to freeze after 3-4 mirroring sessions. This happens when mirroring to AirServer or an Apple TV. Restarting the iPad is the only way to fix this issue. With a classroom full of students. Not fun!

To make matters worse, iOS 7 automatically drops the mirroring connection, 45 seconds after the iPad auto-locks, forcing the user to re-establish AirPlay mirroring multiple times during a presentation, and eventually freezing up the mirroring component.

The new iOS 7 has a bug which does not allow smooth mirroring using AirServer. The connection drops out; and at times it duplicates the iPad window on the Macbook, as though there are two displays being shown. It is very frustrating and hopefully can be addressed by Apple and AirServer very soon. Our school relies on AirServer a lot and this bug has rendered it virtually useless.
