Thanks for the help! The system appears to allow sending messages again.

I guess that the exact web page and language can be different, depending on from which country the browser call is made (the text I received directly from your link was in Swedish). One of the nearby pages should show something like this. The plain LS14250 type is the typical 3.6 V battery used for older Macs (I am not absolutely sure that this is the correct one for the Power Macintosh G3 Beige Mini Tower, though; someone else should be able to confirm that).
