Icloud account in Outlook doesn't send mail, errorcode: 0x80004005 Help?

Can't send any e-mails today. Yesterday everything worked just fine.......How can I fix this?

This worked for me, too. Windows 7/Outlook 2007. Only change the Outgoing Mail setting. So here's what's working:

IMAP (Incoming Mail Server) information:


Server name: imap.mail.me.com

SSL Required: Yes

Port: 993

Username: example@me.com (use your @me.com address from your iCloud account)

Password: Your iCloud password


SMTP (outgoing mail server) information:


Server name: p06-smtp.mail.me.com

SSL Required: Yes

Port: 587

SMTP Authentication Required: Yes

Username: example@me.com (use your @me.com address from your iCloud account)

Password: Your iCloud password

Same problem, will try the explicit smtp server name. Did someone at Apple delete an alias???


Same problem with sending mail from Outlook 2010 (Win7 64 bit - started yesterday) and Windows Live Mail 2011 (Win7 32-bit).

Error code 0x80004005

Protocol smtp

Port 587

SSL


No issues sending iCloud email from the browser / web iCloud interface or from my Android phone.


Not finding any of this in Google searches yet.
