my audio books were on my new iphone have now disappeared. I paid for them. Where are they

I just purchased a new iPhone 5c this week and downloaded two audiobooks to it (I thought). There were on my iPhone the first day but are no longer there or listed in my purchased items. They are on my credit card bill however so somewhere things went astray. Anyone know were they might be filed or how to get a second download? thanks.

Audiobooks are currently sold as one time only downloads. If you download directly to a device you should transfer to a computer at the earliest opportunity, and you should backup your library. If these downloads have been lost you can ask the iTunes store support team nicely if they can grant a redownload on this occasion. They are under no obligation to do so, but they have been known to make exceptions.
