Vi AirPlay if you have an newer Apple TV
Via a connector you insert into the iPods dock connector. You can get VGA and HDM for the 4G and 5G iPods and VGA, component and composite TV out on the older iPods.
I myself use the Apple A/V component cables. Keep in mind the app must support (TV out).
